Rules for safeguarding health during the coronavirus pandemic

Dear Music-lovers, we are doing all we can to ensure your safety during our concerts, but we need your cooperation as well! Please follow the rules below:

  1. Only visitors that show no symptoms of illness may visit the concerts of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Please do not visit our performance if you are not feeling completely healthy. In the interest of protecting the health of our audience members, a body-temperature check will be performed upon entry. If a body temperature of or above 37.4 °C (99.32 °F) is detected, the check will be repeated in 10 minutes to determine whether or not the affected individual may enter our rehearsal hall. If you are not allowed to enter, let us know at rendeles@bfz.hu to have the price of your ticket or the prorated price of your season pass reimbursed.
  2. Before entering the concert hall, everyone will be required to disinfect their hands at the touch-free stations by the doors.
  3. Visitors must wear a mask that covers their mouth and nose in the foyer and the concert hall. Children over the age of six must also wear a mask at our Cocoa Concerts.

We at BFO are doing all we can to ensure the safety of our audience: before each concert, we disinfect the restrooms, door handles, bars, counters and other surfaces and ventilate the rehearsal hall (that also functions as a concert hall). Staff members and musicians who show signs of illness are not permitted to work.

At concerts outside our rehearsal hall, the rules of the given concert hall apply.

Take care of yourselves, and take care of each other!
