About the event
On 9 November, the musicians of the Budapest Festival Orchestra will once again step out of the concert hall and into the Budapest night. The Night of Music promises an exceptional Saturday night for those who book a table in some of Budapest's most popular bars and clubs.
In 2024, for the eighth time, classical music will fill Budapest's hot spots. Free mini-concerts at venues such as ISON, Szatyor Bar and KEG Beerhouse will welcome music lovers to the most unmissable classical music event of the autumn.
The informal mini-concerts start in the early evening, typically at 18.00, and in some venues last until midnight. All are free to attend, so book early if you can, as venues fill up quickly.
The line-up of performers has already gone international last year, and this year is another exciting one. Alongside the BFO artists, this year's European Orchestra Academy (EOA) students, some of Europe's most talented young musicians, will be bringing their instruments to their favourite venues. Their enthusiasm, diverse tastes and musical backgrounds will take the evening's music in new directions.
The event is co-organised by Budapest Brand and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
