The two concerts given by the Budapest Festival Orchestra and Iván Fischer in Beijing last October have been awarded the Classical Elite award for Best Symphonic Concerts of the Year in China. It is China’s only classical music award, the judges include many of China’s most distinguished commentators and critics.
