Dr. Klára Csuhai Csinos drew her depiction of Iván Fischer and soloist Vilde Frang after a performance in 2020.
Photography is not permitted in concert halls during performances, but everyone is welcome to etch what they see in their minds, and later depict it on paper. That is what Dr. Klára Csuhai Csinos did, as a loyal member of the BFO’s audience since its very beginnings.
Her drawing appears to depict the choreography of a special dance, with the conductor and the movements of the violinist. Their emotional characters, with eyes closed, and their sensitive hand gestures, transform them almost into mediums of the music, which we unfortunately cannot hear, no matter how much we would like to. “That concert was a miracle. I am still almost overcome by tears when I think back on its beauty,” Klára says.
Klára takes care of her memories differently than most of us; she creates drawings to immortalize the moments which sweep her away; this way, each of her drawings is a precious memory. And now this memory is yours, too.
