World famous guests

Next season, the BFO is bringing you the most exciting soloists and conductors from the international world of classical music. The sensitive, young and talented Robin Ticciati is returning; Paavo Järvi will be conducting some Russian classics and an Estonian rarity; and the Greek violin virtuoso, Leonidas Kavakos, will be performing Bartók’s Second Violin Concerto, conducted by Iván Fischer. Those playing alongside us will include the 73-year-old Beethoven specialist, Richard Goode, and Kossuth-Prize-winning cimbalom player, Oszkár Ökrös.
In December, the Greek violin virtuoso, Leonidas Kavakos, is going to entertain the BFO’s audience with a Bartók violin concerto, under the baton of Iván Fischer. In January, Paavo Järvi will be conducting two 20th-century Russian classics. The world-famous Norwegian
