Hungarian virtuoso presented a „lunch recess concert” to highschool students

Youth Daily The Budapest Festival Orchestra from Hungary has recently visited Minli High School, presenting to the students a small-scale and elegant concert. Based on information from the Hungarian Consulate General in Shanghai, the reason the orchestra chose to perform at Minli High School was due to the famous Hungarian poet Petofi and his wellknown poem „Liberty and Love”.
Yin Fu, the Chinese translator of Petofi’s poem „Liberty and Love”, who was a patriotic matyre, had studied in Minli High School. After the performance, the Hungarian musicians who travelled all the way to Shanghai volunteered to admire the statues of Petofi and Yinfu.
