Dear colleagues and friends,

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that Anna Pulay, Frici, passed away Monday morning. For a year she endured a battle against a terrible incurable disease, and her family’s help knew no bounds.
Frici had been one of the main pillars of the Budapest Festival Orchestra for 30 years. She devoted all her attention to working for the orchestra, almost fanatically. We will miss her sparkling character, great sense of humour, friendly affection and enthusiasm. We shall always remember her.   Kind regards, Iván Fischer
