Bad Kissingen | June 11–14, 2026
In June, early summer will welcome our supporters and orchestra to Bad Kissingen, one of Germany’s best-known spa towns. Alongside concerts at the Regentenbau concert hall, the town itself is well worth exploring, with its elegant neoclassical buildings, palaces and baths, Art Nouveau villas, and the charming streets around the Arkadenbau. All sights are within easy walking distance.
In December 2025, 16 supporters accompanied the orchestra to Baden-Baden, where we enjoyed the Advent atmosphere of one of Germany’s most beautiful spa towns. You may view the full programme of the Baden-Baden tour, along with some of our previous trips, here, to get a sense of the cultural and gastronomic experiences awaiting those who travel with us.
Participation in the Bad Kissingen tour includes:
– Three nights’ accommodation with breakfast (expected to be in the same distinguished, high-quality hotel as the orchestra)
– Two symphonic concerts in the beautiful historic concert hall of the Regentenbau
– Guided city walk
– Museum visits with entrance tickets included
– Conversations offering an insight into the behind-the-scenes workings of the BFO and the mechanics of touring, over a glass of wine or another drink
– Upon request, we would also be delighted to organise a wine tasting at one of the region’s historic wineries (at additional cost), and to arrange dinners and informal gatherings in advance
