Born in Budapest in 1969, Ákos Pápai attended first the Béla Bartók Music Secondary School in Budapest, later the Franz Liszt Music Academy of the Hungiarian capital. Between 1992 and 1998 he was member of the Duna Symphony Orchestra, since 1998 he has been with the Hungarian Telekom Symphony Orchestra. Mr.Pápai is a regular participant in different projects of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, in Hungary and abroad.
