Eva Neuszerova

Eva Neuszerova joined the Budapest Festival Orchestra in 2010.
She began her musical education at the Conservatory Bratislava. She was awarded Best Graduate of the year, first prize at the National Woodwind Competition and special Prize for the Best Interpretation of 20th Century Slovak music.
At the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague she graduated with Bachelor Diploma and after that she joined the class of Christian Wetzel in Leipzig and Cologne. She also participated in masterclasses led by Stefan Schilli, Jacques Tys, Hansjörg Schellenberger, Jean-Louis Capezzali.
Apart from chamber music projects she performed with numerous orchestras already since the age of 14. She joined Europa Philharmonie, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and worked in Prague Philharmonia under Jiří Bělohlávek. She was academist at Radio-Sinfonie Orchester SWR Stuttgart and Deutsche Oper am Rhein, and worked also with Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg, Münchener Kammerorchester, and many other orchestras in Germany with conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt and Jakub Hrůša. As a guest principal oboist she has performed with Malmö Symphony Orchestra in Sweden and Sonderjyllands Symphony Orchestra in Denmark. She also worked in Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana in Spain under Riccardo Chailly.
Currently she combines her work with the Budapest Festival Orchestra with the principal oboe position at the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Finland.
