Lucrezia Costanzo

Lucrezia completed her Bachelor degree at the Bruno Maderna Conservatory in Cesena with Prof. Stefano Pagliani, and also took part in an Erasmus program at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is currently studying with Aleksey Semenenko at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
Lucrezia has participated in masterclasses with renowned violinists like Shlomo Mintz, Francesca Dego, and Andrea Obiso, and in 2022 she took part in the Concertmaster Artist Diploma at the Stauffer Center for Strings in Cremona. At the age of 17, she won the position of leader of the Academy Orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. At 19, she obtained a position at the Brandenburg Theatre, she has been selected as an academist for both the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Since 2022 she is Section Principal/Leader of the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra in Essen and from 2023 she is concertmeister of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Lucrezia has also worked with orchestras like the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, Haydn Philarmonie in Vienna, with Spira Mirabilis, with the Teatro Regio in Turin and others. With these orchestras, she has had the chance to work with and be inspired by great artists like Iván Fischer, Gianandrea Noseda, Gábor Takacs-Nagy, Lahav Shani, Antonio Pappano, Enrico Onofri, Martha Argerich, András Schiff, Julia Fischer, Renaud Capuçon.
