Márta Berger

Having attended secondary school in Veszprém, Márta Berger won admittance to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music by winning the 1998 Hungarian National Woodwind Competition in Győr. In 2003, as a student at the Stuttgart Academy of Music, she received a scholarship from the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra. From 2004 she spent two years in Berlin as a member of the Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. Her first involvement with the Budapest Festival Orchestra was in 2003.
