Tailor made BFO concert series

Tailor made BFO concert series

Single tickets are available from 17th June
Single tickets are available for the concerts of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, one of the top 10 orchestras in the world, from 17th June. It is worth creating a tailored concert series and purchasing the tickets well in advance. The BFO also continues to sell the few remaining season tickets. The 2013-2014 Anniversary season will open with the new Bridging Europe Festival, focusing on Czech culture. Iván Fischer will make his debut in Hungary as a composer in the middle of October, while the two great pianists Maria João Pires and Martha Argerich will perform in October and November. The concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of the overwhelmingly successful and amazing first concert will be organised on the 26th December in the spirit of spontaneity: its programme is a secret and will take even the orchestra and Iván Fischer by surprise. Following the Bach-marathon in February the BFO will play together with violinist Pinchas Zukerman. In April Dmitrij Kitajenko will conduct Prokofjev and Strauss at the Palace of Arts. The BFO will close the season with yet another opera in May: Dvořák’s Rusalka will be conducted by Iván Fischer. www.bfz.hu
