Both concerts form part of the 12-event long series "Perspectives" with András Schiff as host, who will perform in two nights all three Bartók piano concertos. The Bartók pieces will be coupled with works by Schubert. (Symphonies Nos. 5 and 9, The Magic Harp Overture) After the Big Apple the tour will finish with a concert in Purchase, New Jersey (October 30th) and another one at Chicago (October 31st).
