BFO CONCERT UNDER THE BUDAPEST SKY

23 May 2013 Budapest - Thanks to the decade-long cooperation between the Budapest City Council and the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the BFO will perform at the Open-Air Theatre on Margaret Island on the occasion of Music Freedom Day. While the concert is free, there is limited capacity at the venue so tickets have to be requested. Tickets are available at several locations from 24 May.
The Budapest Festival Orchestra will give its only open-air symphony concert this year at the Open-Air Theatre on Margaret Island on 19 June from 7:00 PM. Thanks to the Budapest City Council, the concert is free, but there is limited capacity at the venue so tickets have to be requested. The Budapest Festival Orchestra will play MOZART’s Symphony in G major (K.199) and then Georges Bizet-Rodion Shchedrin’s Carmen Suite conducted by Gábor Takács-Nagy.
