Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer is set to entertain the Shanghai audience. Named one of the world's top 10 symphony or chestras by Gramophone, the Budapest Festival Orchestra was founded in 1983. Fischer has been the music director for the past 30 years, presenting intense and emotionally gripping performances. The program for the concert in Shanghai consists of Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor by Borodin, Violin Concerto by Glazunov, featuring violinist Renaud Capucon and Symphony No 7 by Beethoven.   7:30 pm, March 12.
