The both “tenderness and demonic” Daniil Trifonov – the most promising pianist of our times -  will be the soloist of the June 27th, 28th and 28th concerts at the Béla Bartók Concert Hall at the the Palace of Art. Born in Nizhniy Novgorod in 1991, Daniil Trifonov is one of the brightest names of the next generation of pianists. The fame of his impressive talent and outstanding interpretative intensity has already outrun the first international attention, which he caught after winning, during the only 2010/11 season, medals at three of the most prestigious competitions in the music world: the Chopin Competition in Warsaw (Third Prize), the Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv (First Prize) and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow (First Prize and Grand Prix). “Last night I listened to him again on YouTube – he has everything and more. What he does with his hands is technically incredible. It’s also his touch – he has tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that.” said Martha Argerich, one the world’s most distinguished artists in an interview with the Financial Times. The young artist will be performing Tchaikovsky’s most popular piano concerto in B-flat minor with the Budapest Festival Orchestra and with the Orchestra’s first principal conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy on the 27th, 28th and 28th of June at the Béla Bartók Concert Hall at the Palace of Art.  The concerts will also feature Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 (Romantic).
