About the event
Following the postponement of our U.S. tour due to COVID, the Budapest Festival Orchestra’s 40th Anniversary celebrations now take place in 2026 – a moment that unexpectedly and beautifully coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. This gala, co-hosted by the Tulipán Foundation, marks a particularly meaningful return to New York, shaped by the spirit and artistry that define the BFO under Iván Fischer.
