About the event

We warmly welcome members of our BFO Patrons club to the BFO’s general rehearsal on April 14. Experience the orchestra under the baton of Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Chief Conductor of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra.

The Colombian conductor, known for his temperament and elegance, returns to the BFO after two years. Sharing the stage with him is María Dueñas, one of the most exciting rising stars of the young generation of violinists. The program opens with Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s dramatic Julius Caesar Overture. At the general rehearsal, this will be followed by Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, performed by nearly a hundred musicians, bringing wild passion and breathtaking musical imagery to life.
