BFO Fundraising Ball

Please mark your calendar: the Budapest Festival Orchestra’s annual Fundraising Ball will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026.

This season, the Ball, titled A Night of Americana in Budapest, will celebrate the BFO's return to the US.

We aim to elevate the ball to new heights and make it more spectacular than ever! Prepare for an unforgettable evening where music, dance, and celebration take center stage, and where there will be even more time for joyful, carefree enjoyment.

How to confirm your participation
By attending the gala, you support the work and success of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Participation is based on two components:– a fixed-price dinner ticket, and– a donation, the amount of which depends on the level of support you choose.

Step 1 – Choose your level of support
Please decide first how much you would like to support the Orchestra by selecting one of the following categories:

Ticket: HUF 100,000 (or €260)
VIP Ticket: HUF 200,000 (or €520)
VIP Table for 10 guests: HUF 1,800,000 (or €4,650)

Step 2 – Purchase the dinner ticket
The dinner ticket has a uniform price of HUF 50,000 per guest and is purchased online by card payment (one ticket per guest).

Step 3 – Pay the remaining amount as a donation
The remaining balance of your chosen support level is paid as a donation (by card or bank transfer) by January 23.

Ticket: HUF 50,000 donation
VIP Ticket: HUF 150,000 donation
VIP Table: donation corresponding to the total support level minus the dinner tickets

Together, the dinner ticket and the donation constitute the full participation fee.

As places are limited, early booking is recommended.

Early Bird offer: If you secure your place at the BFO Ball by purchasing your dinner ticket by November 30, you will be our guest at an exclusive January event – a special evening to get into the ball’s spirit with one of the world’s most renowned clarinettists, Jörg Widmann!
