Christina Landshamer

The German soprano graduated from Munich’s and Stuttgart’s universities for music and performing arts. Today, she is a versatile and internationally in-demand concert, opera and recital singer, working with conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Daniel Harding, Vladimir Jurowski, Christian Thielemann or Riccardo Chailly.

Christina Landshamer is regularly performing with the most important orchestras, in Europe a. o. with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam, Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich or the Orchestre de Paris. Last season she was singing for the first time with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Manfred Honeck and went on a European tour with the New York Philharmonic and Alan Gilbert. She is also guest at the major lied centers like the Schubertiade or Wigmore Hall.

Christina Landshamer had her first operatic experiences in Stuttgart, Strasbourg and Berlin (Komische Oper), followed by invitations to Vienna’s Theater an der Wien under Nikolaus Harnoncourt, to the Salzburg Festival with the Berlin Philharmonic under Sir Simon Rattle, the Opera Amsterdam, Semperoper Dresden, Glyndebourne, Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Bavarian State Opera.

In 2016, her first lied CD together with pianist Gerold Huber with songs by Ullmann and Schumann was released.
