We are pleased to inform you that season passes for our 2021–22 season go on sale on Saturday, May 16 starting 10 a.m. This year, you can buy your season pass not only online, but also in person. Depending on their level, members of our BFO Patrons program are eligible to purchase their season passes as early as May 4; Fortissimo level members of our BFO Friends loyalty program may buy season passes three days before the general public, beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 13.
The beginning of season pass sales this year is also a celebration of meeting again. On this occasion, we will have some surprises for our audiences. We are looking forward to seeing you at our all-day season pass sales on May 16 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in our rehearsal hall at Selmeci utca 14–16., where you can also have a chance to meet and greet Iván Fischer and the BFO’s musicians, and enjoy some musical surprises. With your safety in mind, we will, as always, observe the strictest epidemiological guidelines.
You can, of course, also purchase season passes in our office in Bécsi út, where our staff will be available on the same day, May 16 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and then during regular opening hours to assist season pass holders. If you prefer purchasing your season pass online, you will find help at “How can I purchase season passes online?”.
In addition to the Doráti, Solti, Reiner, Ormándy, Széll, Fricsay season passes and our two Cocoa series, this year, we also offer something new: if, besides listening to music, you are also in for some entertaining stories told by Iván Fischer, we recommend our series of afternoon concerts entitled Iván’s Stories. No matter which season pass you choose, rest assured that the upcoming season will once again bring you marvelous pieces – including Iván Fischer’s latest opera direction! – and fabulous soloists.
