The Festival Orchestra touring with Liza Ferschtman was received with almost unprecedented acclaim not just by US and Canadian critics, including The New York Times critic, but also by the audiences.
Iván Fischer and the orchestra received a standing ovation in the Lincoln Center, while Le Devoir had the following to say about the Montreal concert: "There is an orchestra that loves its music without reservation, and a conductor that […] continues to push the bar up".
The next tour of the BFO starts on March 4 and will take in 6 countries: Iván Fischer and the BFO are taking their music to Turin, Brussels, Linz and Ljubljana alongside the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz, and the Oman city of Muscat.
